If you weren’t at Mooki last night, then shame on you! We don’t like you any more and we want all our toys back. We phoned your mom and she told us that you weren’t grounded and that you weren’t in bed with a sore tummy, so don’t even try that line with us. We know you could’ve been here, and we feel hurt (and a little betrayed) that you didn’t show up. Don’t expect a big present this Christmas. The jokes on you anyway; we had a great time and Greg sold a heap of his prints, so you lost out!
The Tokyo Go Go launch was super awesome! It was our first exhibition launch and we’re totally stoked at the response and turnout. Loads of Nom Noms were laid out by us and the Chocolate Chilli Sake was flowing all night. It was really cool to see so many people come out in support of local art; it made us proud to be doing our little bit to bring the Glenwood and greater Durban community together to celebrate such a talented designer.
This is the first of what we hope will be many more exhibitions, so, in the words of Police file circa 1989 “Keep ‘em Peeled” (your eyes, that is)…….obviously we don’t mean this literally coz that would just be a bit gross. If you don’t think so, then you are excused from attending. We won’t be upset at all. Feel free to stay the hell away. We know all about people like you.
The exhibition is on for about two weeks, so there’s plenty of time to pop in and have a gander. We are already planning our next exhibition which will be in early November, and once we have all the details you will be the first to know about it. After us, that is.
If you are a designer/artist/photographer/creator (No mimes please) then please feel free to contact us if you would like to exhibit. There is no monetary cost involved; we prefer to work on a barter system in the spirit of collaboration. Just contact us and tell us a bit about yourself and what you do.
